My Story

Hi! I'm Keren Unrad Rosenblum, founder of PinkLight Marketing.

It seems like ages ago that I was the head of marketing for a product I wasn't excited about and working for a company that seemed to stand still while the rest of the world was racing ahead. I led a great team, which followed other marketing leadership roles I had at a global book publisher, two national cable networks, and other media companies. Before that I spent time on the agency side while getting my MBA from NYU Stern. Yup, my career the definitely on the right (albeit traditional) track, but something was missing.

As the years went on, I met many amazing CEOs who were developing new technologies and services that challenged the status quo. I found myself sharing their excitement because I knew that I could help their businesses get to market faster, more effectively, and more profitably. I couldn't resist the urge to get involved, so I began freelancing in my (somehow conjured up) free time. At first, I helped startups and other small B2B tech companies with their initial marketing efforts - developing their brand strategies, website content, and sales messaging, and designing plans to take their products to market. I worked with many new brands, learned new industries, and met people all over the world. I absolutely loved it.

Shortly thereafter, I said goodbye to my cushy full-time job and jumped into marketing consulting, taking on more clients and a more diverse set of projects. Over time, these one-off projects turned into longer engagements until eventually, I had a full roster of companies that I was excited to work with every day. And that's how PinkLight Marketing was born: from my passion for bringing best-in-class marketing strategy and execution services to dynamic companies that may not have the scale or the budget to take on a full-time Chief Marketing Officer.
